Last month, Acme completed a project with Leeds University Union (LUU) to design and build four new commercial kitchens for their Students’ Union refurbishment. As part of the £16m project, all four kitchens were refurbished to cater for the increased needs of LUU’s four restaurants and bars, with an increased combined capacity of over 400 covers. Acme installed all the catering equipment, refrigeration, cold rooms and ventilation units, as well as completing all the fabrication and mechanical and electrical (M&E) work for the areas. We also specified and installed facilities for pizza-making, including brand-new pizza ovens, preparation areas and dough machinery.
